2012 Practitioner Awards

Our congratulations go to Jackie Baxter of Pluss for winning the 2012 Practitioner of the Year award. East Ayrshire Council won the Scottish Team award. Details of the other winners are available on our Awards page.

BASE Conference 2013

We are now planning our 2013 annual conference in Bristol. It will take place on 10-11 September and we're interested in potential workshops. Contact us if you're interested in presenting.

For more in-depth, interactive support, there are regular training courses to assist with both management and delivery of supported employment provision.

Senior mental health offenders employment specialist (Enable)

Salary: £23548 - £25106 pa
Location: Based in Stafford and working across the West Midlands region

Enable is delivering a brand new employment service for offenders with mental health problems in partnership with the Centre for Mental Health. The three year contract will work with mental health services, prison services in 3 prisons, probation and researchers to support people with mental health problems into paid employment opportunities using the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) model.

HR Advisor (Pluss)

Salary: £27,253
Hours: 37 (temp to cover maternity)
Location: Exeter

We are looking for a HR professional who has knowledge and experience of working within a generalist HR advisory position who is ideally CIPD qualified (Graduate or Chartered Member) or working towards the qualification to join our busy HR Team.

The Job

Employment Specialist (Southdown Housing)

Location: Crawley – 37 hours per week (fixed term) - Ref: ES.
Salary: £21,476 - £22,912 per annum plus £955 per annum, pro rata essential car users allowance.
