BASE response to Shaping Future Support

BASE has responded to the consultation on DWP's Health & Disability Green Paper, Shaping Future Support. 

We welcome the publication of the Green Paper which we have read within the context of the National Disability Strategy. The Green Paper has a focus on welfare benefit design and assessment, and the support that disabled people receive from the Department for Work and Pensions and Jobcentre Plus. It also contains a chapter on improving employment support and our focus has been on responding to that particular chapter.
