Breakthrough is a supported employment service offering a personalised approach to support people with a learning disability or autism to look for, access and retain employment.

Referrals are currently made to us through a social care team. We will invite you in for an informal meeting and begin planning (find out what you want) and costings. Then we will set and agree action plans with you and review at regular intervals.

We will help you to look for suitable employment opportunities. These can include:
* paid
* voluntary
* work experience placements
* self-employment

We aim to help people to develop employability skills and independence and can help with:
* job seeking
* filling out application forms
* CV's and covering letters
* work ethics
* travel training
* interview preparation
* benefits
and much more.

Our individualised approach offers 1 to 1 support and pre-employment training with interview and initial 'on the job' support. We have good links with the job centre and work programme providers and strive to build up a natural support network within the work place.
