What works?

We're looking for your views on what works and what doesn't in terms of disability employment policy. We're looking for short case studies that demonstrate what's helping disabled people to find sustainable jobs and what's hindering this aim.

The case studies can be anonymous. We don't need names of people or providers - we just want to know how policy is impacting on disabled jobseekers, employees and employers. If you've got a story to tell, please send us a paragraph or two to admin [at] base-uk [dot] org

We'd like to know what disability the person has and how something has helped or not. It could be about using Access to Work funding, transition from education, access to local support, using Work Choice or the Work Programme, personal budgets, welfare benefit assessments - anything where you've got a story to tell.

This information will feed into our discussions with policy makers over the coming months. We know that personal stories can be very influential so please get in touch.
