Practitioner of the Year Awards 2010

BASE is proud to announce the winners of its inaugural Practitioner of the Year Awards. The awards recognise and celebrate outstanding practice in the field of supported employment in the UK and reflect the personal achievement, innovation and commitment of individuals in supporting sustainable employment. The focus of the awards is on promoting the remarkable work that goes on across the country to help people with disabilities get the support they need to achieve their work aspirations and retain paid employment.

BASE launches 2011 Practitioner Awards

BASE has launched its search for nominations for the 2011 Practitioner Awards. Awards are being offered for excellence in supporting people with learning disabilities, mental health needs and sensory impairments. There is also an award for supporting employers. One of the winners will be chosen as Practitioner of the Year. The awards will be presented at the BASE annual conference in Cardiff on 7 September.

Practitioner of the Year Awards

BASE has launched its inaugural Practitioner of the Year Awards. The awards will recognise the commitment, innoivation and achievement of outstanding individuals within the sector. Awards are to be offered to individuals who have supported customers with learning disabilities, mental health needs and sensory impairments. There is also an award for support to employers and an overall Practitioner of the Year award.

The awards are being sponsored by BASE, the Valuing People Now team, Dering Employment and the Centre for Mental Health.
