Slough Children's Services Trust
We provide support and social care services for children, young people and families in Slough.
We have a very clear goal to protect children and young people from harm and improve the quality of care they receive. We aim to deliver on Ofsted’s judgement of ‘requires improvement’ within one year, ‘good’ children’s services within three years and ‘outstanding’ within five years.
Our work will be guided by four core principles:
* hearing the voice of the child in everything we do
* children thrive when supported by their families and communities
* building on the strengths of children and families promotes resilience and effects lasting change
* safeguarding is a shared responsibility, requiring partnership and collaboration across communities
We will use these core principles to guide the joint development of our organisation’s fundamental values and behaviours that will underpin excellent social work practice.
We will regularly share our progress and keep this website updated so children, young people and residents of Slough can judge how well we are doing.
