Hours: 37 (temp until March 2013)
Salary: Band E scp 22 – 26 £19,767 to £22,386
Location: Plymouth

Job Description:
This post of Employment Consultant is part of a re-focussed and enthusiastic team based in Plymouth to deliver good quality supported employment services for job seekers with learning disabilities to ensure that they secure paid employment in integrated settings in the community. You will also help local employers to recognise (and make a reality) the good business benefits of recruiting a diverse workforce. You will need to facilitate and support job seekers with learning disabilities into the world of work and use best practice Support Employment methods.

The Person:
You will be a highly motivated self starter who can work well in a team and be suitably experienced who believes in the presumption of employment for all people with a learning disability and is able to help make this a reality through successful training, coaching and negotiations to also meet employers needs. You must have immediately relevant knowledge skills and experience that meet the person profile and job description for this post and have other requirements for success.
