Slough Employment Service

Speedwell Enterprises was established in 1979 by Slough Borough Council and since that time has helped many disabled people in Slough and the surrounding area find employment.

This has been done through the provision of training, work experience and work based skills that are acquired in our supported workshop, we also help with cv preparation and interview skills. Once in employment our Training and Development advisors will still support the employee and employer for as long as both parties feel is necessary.

All our employees are on the Work Choice scheme and having been offered a place at Speedwell are put on a one year contract during which we will expect them to do their own job searching and be willing to try any work experience opportunities that the support staff may be able to find.

Our workshop is a valuable asset and the income we receive from the contract work we get helps support the cost of running Speedwell, plus it gives the employees a chance to work as part of a team, meet deadlines and produce work to a quality specification as required by our customers.
We specialise in packaging, hand assembly and light engineering – anyone wishing to have a quotation for this type of work should contact us for a competitive quotation on 01753 572249.
We already have a large and varied customer base that includes Royal Mail, Mars, Yoplait and Sara Lee
