Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames

Kingston Workstart (KW) is a dynamic supported employment service working in the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames and takes referrals from within the borough.

Under the umbrella of KW there are a number of bespoke projects, our aim is to support people with additional barriers to enter to labour market or support to people who are struggling to keep their job. We work with individuals to seek the ‘right’ job, which takes into account individuals’ values and aspirations. For people with a learning disability we broker suitable work positions and offer holistic support people with a diagnosis of Asperger syndrome. We also support people with a range of health needs, especially mental health difficulties with work retention issues and with support back into the workplace. We partner with local employers to offer advice and guidance to help local businesses become disability confident.
