The Papworth Trust
Leading disability charity Papworth Trust aims for disabled people to have equality, choice and independence. A registered social landlord, Papworth Trust helps over 20,000 disabled people every year through a wide range of services including Employment, Vocational Rehabilitation, Housing and Personal Support.
Our employment service focuses on delivering programmes and opportunities for disabled people and disadvantaged people to obtain and retain employment. We also provide career development services to support our clients in reaching their career goals, and we support employers to retain and develop disabled or disadvantaged staff.
Papworth Trust has over 20 years of experience of delivering employment programmes for disabled people. We have delivered a range of services including the Supported Placement Scheme, WORKSTEP, Work Preparation Programme, New Deal for Disabled People, Pathways to Work, Flexible New Deal and Work Choice. In 2010/11, we helped nearly 6,000 through our Employment Services.
