The Employment Service

The Wellbeing Service incorporates:
The Employment Service, Community vocational projects, Older People’s Day Care Service Adult Day Care Service Mental Health Day Care Service
Bringing these services together enables us to combine our expertise and best practice, making them available to the public in one place. Through this new provision we are able to provide a complete service whether you require day care, employment advice and training or would like to develop skills by undertaking a new project.

The Employment Service
Together into Employment and OPUS Employment Services have now merged to form The Employment Service. A not for profit service, we aim to help young people age 14 or above and adults with a disability or mental health problem into employment, education, training or volunteering. We also provide a transition service into employment for those leaving education. The service provides support and training tailored to individuals whether they’re employees or employers. Our team have a wealth of experience in successfully getting individuals into employment whether they’re new to work or returning after a period of illness.

The Employment Service also provides:
• Advice and guidance
• Vocational profiling
• Job searching
• Interview support
• Job training including work placements
• Support in retaining jobs
• Support in moving on to open employment

We have a range of facilities including private interview rooms, I.T facilities and fully equipped training rooms available at various community bases.
