Little Gate Farm

Little Gate Farm is a training and skills project based on a farm in East Sussex, we prepare adults with learning disabilities/autism for paid work, in a real working environment.

We  also run a supported employment program that successfully places adults into paid job in Hastings and Rother, we follow the model of Supported Employment recommended by BASE, which is why our program is so successful.

All our rangers (working title of service users) are funded to attend Little Gate Farm through adult social care. Referrals are either made through social workers, colleges or self-referral. We have a 6-week assessment process before being admitted on to the program, this process allows us to assess work ethic and a willingness to learn.

Age isn’t a barrier. Adults must have a learning disability of being on the autistic spectrum. Places are limited.
