Lady Haig's Poppy Factory

LHPF exists to employ disabled ex-servicemen and women. We are a supported business that employs a total of 42 people. All are veterans.

The factory manufactures all the poppies and related goods for the Scottish Poppy Appeal and distributes product all over Scotland in time for each year’s collection.

Product is sold to our parent organisation Poppyscotland on a not for profit basis and they raised in the region of £2.3 million for Appeal’10.

The factory also manufactures about 10,000 wreaths and other related items annually which are sold commercially.

Finally the factory runs its own framing business fully accredited by the Fine Art Trades Guild.

The factory and its parent, Poppyscotland, are members of The Royal British Legion group of charities.
