What is REAL?

REAL means - Realistic Employment for Adults with Learning Disabilities. The Real Employment Agency works with people who have a mild to moderate learning disability. Real offers customers a unique package of support to help them to gain and maintain employment in the 'open' jobs market.

REAL links closely with all the major players in the employment field including Job Centre Plus, Project Search and Works Better. Project SEARCH partners with the local authority and NHS to provide real world internships and competitive employment to young adults

REAL has a long, successful and well established history in the field of employment for people with learning disabilities dating back to its beginnings in 1992.

The REAL Employment Agency is based at 41 Market Street. The agency offers a range of support to its customers which include help with CV's, job application forms both online and written, interview training and support to access mainstream services such as Job Centre Plus.
