Signposts is a work focused day opportunity and supported employment service located in Eastleigh. As part of the Hexagon Resource centre, the service is core funded by Hampshire County Council, Adult Services. Our service is available to individuals in receipt of a personal budget from Adult Services or self-funding customers. Our aim is to open up work opportunities for those furthest from the employment market. From October 2010, we have focused on increasing the variety of opportunities for work tasters, work experience, work training, and routes to both voluntary and paid work for those hardest to help in employment market.

What we offer
In taking their first steps either back into work (after illness or injury) or to start work for the first time, our clients are looking for anything from 2hours per week and upwards to full-time work. The support Signposts can provide includes:

• Advice and Guidance
• Individual Progression Plans to Work
• Access to in-house (e.g. travel training) and external vocational skills training including accredited courses
• Support to complete CV’s, Job Applications, Job Interviews
• Job Coaching and support to employers to help an individual settle into and retain a job.
• Trials/piloting opportunities for small business/self-employment
