Future Path use variants of the Individual Placement and Support model to support disadvantaged groups back into work. To date, this has focussed on young care leavers and people suffering from common mental health issues, but future delivery could equally focus on other groups such as lone parents, offenders and those with substance misuse issues. We also use a more “black box” approach to support people with complex issues into employment.
We support people in the following areas:
Barnet: Complex needs/ESA/common mental health aged 18+, Barnet unemployed resident EITHER claiming ESA OR self-reporting mental ill health OR having needs so complex as to require the support of multiple agencies.
West London: 18-24 unemployed people who are in, or have lived in, local authority care.
Camden: Aged 18+, Camden unemployed residents self-reporting mental ill health.
Hounslow: Aged 18+, Hounslow residents affected by the Benefit Cap.
