East Riding of Yorkshire Council

The Labour Market Development Team develops and delivers services on behalf of East Riding of Yorkshire Council that receive some element of external funding.

We primarily support unemployed people into training, employment, self-employment and voluntary work. Particular groups we help include older workers, women returning to work after a career break, lone parents, disabled people and other groups considered to be at a disadvantage in the labour market.

There are ten services delivering employment and training within the Labour Market Team including Work Choice.
