Supported Employment Team
Brighton & Hove City Council’s Supported Employment Team provides employment support for disabled people living in Brighton and Hove who are eligible for social care services. We assist clients in gaining and retaining employment. We provide support to the employee, the employer and work colleagues through training, job coaching and advice. We will advise employers on their responsibilities and support them.
Brighton & Hove Council also has a supported business, Able & Willing, and the council’s Day Options service provides pre-vocational training as well as support for service users wishing to obtain and maintain voluntary work opportunities.
