Bootstrap Enterprises Ltd

Bootstrap Enterprises Ltd

Bootstrap is a not-for-profit organisation. We are registered as a charity and for over twenty years we have delivered highly effective social inclusion programmes and projects across Pennine Lancashire.

The strong reputation we have established is built on our experience, our expertise and our success in helping people achieve their goals.

We provide flexible and innovative services for customers of Jobcentre Plus and users of social care; we reach out into communities to engage with those facing the most significant barriers to jobs and skills; and we work in partnership with organisations ranging from national prime providers to local third sector neighbourhood groups.

Also we offer at each location a schedule of sector based and work preparation training programmes accessible to all customers.

In this way, we help individuals and communities to take control of their lives and make the most of their potential.

We recognise that the world we live in leads to inequality and disadvantage. Not everyone has had a fair chance. Bootstrap works with people facing a range of disadvantages and discrimination, people who want to change their lives and who need some help to achieve their goals.

Bootstrap`s approach places the individuals we work with at the heart of what we do. Our wide range of programmes and projects addresses health, economic and cultural inequalities, helps people develop the skills they need, builds confidence and creates opportunity.

We work one to one, in groups, on placement and in the workplace. We have specialist skills to work with those who are long term unemployed, young people in transition, people with disabilities, health conditions and mental health support needs, and people with low qualifications.

Our aim in everything we do is to help people to recognise their talents, make informed decisions about where they want their lives to go, and take positive steps towards better futures.
