Advanced Personnel Management

Advanced Personnel Management (APM) is an Australian owned national provider of Workplace Rehabilitation, Employment and Psychological Services.

We employ over 800 employees, and deal with over 80,000 customer referrals per annum across 480 sites. We deliver services across all 116 of Australia’s Employment Service Areas (ESAs), equivalent to UK Jobcentre Plus Districts, covering an area 31 times larger than the UK. Addressing the broad spectrum of customer and community barriers; social, physical, psychological, geographic, cultural and personal to move them into employment.

Delivery across such a vast area and diverse customer groups is possible due to APM’s strong community ethos and commitment to develop local relationships with a range of partners, tailoring service delivery to meet the needs of the individuals and local communities we serve. Our excellent results with a very disadvantaged customer base, 40% of whom have been unemployed for over 2 years, is underpinned by providing customers with access to a comprehensive range of local support services.

Our work with the Australian Government and private sectors has provided us with experience working with customers who have a range of health conditions and injury types and who are in receipt of an array of welfare benefits. These customers have varying support requirements, complex barriers to employment, little or no employment history, various levels of disadvantage; diverse socio-economic and cultural backgrounds.

APM collaborates with large and small private and public sector organisations, assisting people with injuries, disabilities or illnesses to return to work. APM is a member of the National Panel of Assessors and also works in conjunction with the Australian Federal Government to provide Job Capacity Assessment (JCA), Job Capacity Account (JCAc) and Disability Employment Services (DES).

Boasting an experienced staff, that includes qualified Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Psychologists and Employment Consultants, APM is dedicated to consistently exceeding the needs and expectations of its valued customers.
